The number of Notre Dame men’s and women’s cross country runners in the top 10 at the 2018 Crusader Open in Valparaiso, Indiana. The women secured four of the top five spots and the men claimed the top eight spots. Next is the annual National Catholic Invitational, which will be hosted at the Burke Golf Course on Sept. 14th.

Years since Notre Dame’s football team played the Michigan Wolverines. In 2014, the Irish won 37-0, and this year the rivalry was reborn. Notre Dame beat Michigan 24-17, making for a hot start to the 2018 season.

The number of goals scored by Notre Dame’s men’s soccer team two weekends ago in Bloomington, Indiana. The Irish back line proved their strength by not allowing either of their opponents, Connecticut or Dartmouth, to score a single goal. This is the seventh consecutive year in which Notre Dame has started the season with a three-game unbeaten streak.

The number of goals the Notre Dame women’s soccer team scored against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Aug. 30. In the 72nd minute, senior Karin Muya scored the game-winning goal to down the Bearcats. This game marked the 10th straight time the Irish have defeated Cincinnati.
