The number of consecutive weeks men’s hockey was ranked No. 1 from Jan. 8-22 in the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls. The team had a 16-game winning streak until their Jan. 21 game at United Center in Chicago against Wisconsin.

The number of consecutive dual season openers the women’s tennis team has won. The team beat Western Michigan 7-0 on Jan. 23 at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. Freshmen Cameron Corse and Caroline Dunleavy played in the opener and won in straight sets in their singles matches.

The draft pick number of Jon Gallagher, men’s soccer senior forward, who was selected to join Atlanta United FC. Gallagher was selected in the first round and was one of three captains on the Notre Dame soccer team last fall.

The amount of points the women’s swimming and diving team scored to win the Jan. 19-20 meet against Florida State. The men’s team also won, beating FSU 191-162. The Notre Dame swimming and diving team is ranked No. 22, as of Scholastic going to print.
