4: the number of tournament wins the 2019 men’s golf team has claimed, the most in school history. Shooting 43 strokes under par, the Irish defeated USF on the 18th hole at the Quail Valley Golf Club to become the first Division I team this season with four tournament wins, also setting the school mark in half the time it took the previous record holder (the 1999-00 squad).

391: the number of total yards Irish quarterback Ian Book had against the Virginia Tech Hokies on Nov. 2. Book showed off his versatility in a major way, throwing for two touchdowns and becoming the team’s leading rusher with 50 yards. Most notably, Book strung together an 87-yard drive in the final three and a half minutes, capping it off with a game-winning seven-yard touchdown run, pushing the Irish to a 6-2 record thus far.

0: the number of losses the Irish hockey team has had in eight games this season, the first such undefeated start in franchise history in over 20 years. After falling behind 2-0 to Minnesota, Nick Leivermann’s first career multi-point game helped the Irish ultimately walk away victorious, winning 5-3. The Irish improve to 7-0-1 on the season and look to continue their hot streak back against Wiscon- sin on Nov. 15 and 16.

6: the number of Notre Dame cross country athletes to earn All- ACC honors this season. Split evenly among the men’s and women’s teams, each of these six athletes placed in the top-21 at the ACC Championship. Maddy Denner placed third and earned ACC Freshman of the Year honors in the process.
