The number of years Notre Dame has held the annual Bengal Bouts Tournament. The tournament has been held in Purcell Pavilion for many years, but recently the quarterfinals and semifinals have been moved to the Dahnke Ballroom. The finals will return to Purcell Pavilion on March 1 at 7 p.m.

The number of points Arike Ogunbowale scored against Duke to break Skylar Diggins’ record and become Notre Dame’s all-time leading scorer. She leads the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring, with an average of 21.2 points per game. Ogunbowale creates a huge presence on the court, especially in major games.

The current record for the women’s softball team trying to build on its 7-7 record at the Red Desert Classic in St. George, Utah over the weekend of March 1-3.

The number of male students involved in this year’s Bengal Bouts. It is a longstanding event that affords students the opportunity to get physically fit for a great cause. The captain of the Baraka Bouts, the women’s boxing club, Jess Zlaket, explains that one of the best parts of the experience is that “participants help each other conquer their fears and support one another when the nerves kick in during the tournament and the weeks leading up to the first round of fights.”
