The number of times in school history that Notre Dame’s hockey team has made it to the Frozen Four, with their most recent visit this year. The Irish (23-11-5) defeated UMass Lowell in the Northeast Regional Final on March 26 at the SNHU Center. The 3-2 victory was clinched at 2:44 of the first overtime on a shot by sophomore Andrew Oglevie, just outside the crease. The 2017 Frozen Four will be played at the United Center in Chicago, beginning on Thursday, April 6.

The number of national titles that the University of Notre Dame fencing program holds after winning the 2017 National Collegiate Fencing Championships at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis. The Fighting Irish clinched the championship in the fourth round after a 5-1 win by senior Lee Kiefer over Cornell’s Lyubov Kiriakidi on the foil strip. With this title, Kiefer becomes just the third collegiate fencer to earn four weapon titles.

The number of consecutive matchups in which the Irish lacrosse team has beaten the Ohio State Buckeyes. Notre Dame put on an impressive performance on March 25, topping Ohio State 12-7. Senior midfielder Sergio Perkovic led the Irish offense, scoring a hat trick for the second consecutive game. Perkovic now has 10 goals on the season and scored his 99th career goal in the loss to Syracuse.

The number of games that Linsday Allen started during her women’s basketball career. This streak of 149 consecutive starts is a school record. Notre Dame went 139-10 (.933) with Allen in the starting lineup. Although a close loss to Stanford in the Lexington Regional final ended her Notre Dame career, Allen went out with a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, along with six assists.
